WINERIES AND HILLS

The trail starts at the forecourt in front of the castle and heads north-west, and then diverts towards the old gypsum quarry.
From there, it heads south-east, reaches San Giuseppe, heads west and goes down.
It crosses the provincial road in Annunziata and continues south to Cascine (arrival point).
From Cascine, it heads west, following the road.
After passing Cascina Perrone,it turns left, heads south-east, passes Ceirole and reaches Sant’Antonio.
From there, it continues south-east, halfway up the hillside, and finally reaches the town of Canelli.
Then, it goes down to Piazza Cavour, which is the arrival point and where Canelli’s information office; here, tourists can get more information about the town, where are – among other attractions – the popular Underground Cathedrals, included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
